Peer Poetry Workshops

Creative  writing workshops, conducted by Kalam Youth Staff, for peers in their own communities. This program gives agency to marginalized youth to circulate the culture of words among themselves. Over the last four months, series of extensive workshops have been conducted with up to twenty-five adolescents in three distinct marginalized areas in Calcutta. Kalam’s Youth Staff who have been associated with this project include Reshma Khatun, Rina Khatun, Chandra Bagchi, Jhulan Sarkar, Shiuly Begum and Mrityunjoy Gharami.
