Ink-tersect: Writers’ and Mentors’ Intensive

Ink-tersect is a creative writing intensive bringing together American creative writing graduates, Indian creative writing college students, and marginalized youth on the common ground of poetry. In this program, American graduate students train Indian college students as Writing Mentors who eventually facilitate a one-week intensive and creative writing for marginalized youth. Organized by Kalam, Ink-tersect is a collaboration between Jadavpur University’s English Department and Arizona State University’s Masters of Fine Arts Program.
