Footpath Poetry

Kalam’s poetry campaign exhibiting young marginalized writer’s poems along ten tea-stalls and popular coffee-houses in Calcutta. Footpath Poetry seeks to integrate poetic culture in Calcutta’s daily landscape and to subvert the popular assumption of poetry being an expression of “elites” and “intellectuals."
